Lantex Swatch Book

It’s here at last – the Lantex swatch book.

This has truly been a labour of love. It has taken time to carefully consider our wide range of customers and their requirements, but we believe we’ve created something that really works.

The swatch book features beautiful cotton panamas in a variety of weights and finishes, including white, non-optic, and natural. Any of Lantex’s bespoke manufactured products can be produced using our Panama fabrics.

You’ll also find plain cottons in white, cream, and natural. These are ideal tea towel fabrics if you’re looking for a lighter base. Natural continues to be especially popular, and these fabrics can be sewn two- or four-sided. As an entry-level option, they suit most budgets.

Drills and twills are included in a range of shades and weights. These versatile fabrics work well for both plain and printed designs. If print quality and how your artwork is represented are important, cotton drills and twills are well worth considering. Drill is slightly heavier with a tighter construction, while twill is lighter and offers a softer handle. We also offer a popular recycled/­organic natural twill, which prints beautifully and is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a UK-made tea towel with strong environmental credentials – everything manufactured at Lantex is net zero.

Linens and linen unions were the most challenging fabrics to select for the swatch book due to the wide range available. However, we’re very pleased with the final selection, which offers good, better, and best options in both bleached and natural base fabrics.

Calico is also included – this is a loom-state fabric that we commonly manufacture into tote bags.

In addition, the collection features a couple of specialised fabrics designed for specific uses.

The swatch book is available on request and can be purchased via our website (link below). If you keep your order number, the £5.00 cost (plus postage) will be deducted from any future orders.

All fabrics in the swatch book are now linked to price lists for our full product range, making it a simple and efficient process once you have your swatch book.

Please note that some fabrics are not suitable for all products – this will be clearly indicated in the price lists.
